About the Product
Naqal is built for frequent business travellers, digital nomads and holidaymakers who need data abroad without roaming charges. Plans cover single countries and whole regions, and the primary number stays active for calls and texts while the eSIM carries the data.
The Solution
We designed the three-step path the product is built on — browse and buy, install the eSIM in-app, activate on arrival — and built the dashboard behind it: active eSIMs, remaining data balance and expiry dates in real time, top-ups on an active plan, profile management, Apple Pay and other supported payment methods, and sign-in with Apple, Google or email.
What the product had to solve
eSIM is unfamiliar territory for most travellers. The app had to install a plan without bouncing the user to a QR code on a second screen, make remaining data and expiry legible at a glance while abroad, and be trustworthy enough at the payment step for someone buying minutes before a flight.
